THE CHURCH ON 68
A recording of live worship over the month of October, released in November of 2023. Featuring songs written in-house, including spontaneous worship that resonates with the call and assignment of this local church body, these songs capture the heart of worship at the Church on 68.
CLARION CALL
UNDERGROUND RIVER
Clarion Call is an EP released in June of 2023, the first recording from The 68 Sound recording studio housed at the Church on 68.
Comprised of songs that are part of worship at the church, this is the first foray into studio recording for the team.
These are songs of declaration, meant to reflect the joyful admonitions found in Psalm 150 to fervently praise the Lord on our instruments.
LITTLE FLOCK
UNDERGROUND RIVER
Little flock is a song taken from Luke 12 verses 27-34, written in the later months of 2019. No one could have predicted or prepared for 2020, but God knew what would be in store! The reminder that God is in control, and that he will take care of his flock could not have come at a better time. Little Flock is a song that boldly declares the peace of God over our lives, a message we should always strive to walk in.
RESCUE.
UNDERGROUND RIVER
The album Rescue. and its release is a byproduct of singing and declaring what the Father is saying and doing within our church body and the region as a whole. For 20 years, many prophetic words have been spoken concerning the worship within the house. Primarily, these words have declared that original worship songs would be written. These prophetic words began to come to pass in January of 2019. Since then, the Lord has graciously breathed life on the melodies and lyrics received, transforming them into songs that truly resonate with the house.
Our sound is not typical of contemporary worship music today, but it resonates with the call that God has given to our house, The Church on 68. To the best of our ability, we respond to the leading of the Father out of an authentic and pure heart posture in order to declare what is on His heart through worship and song. Rather than reaching from an individual seat, this worship flows from a corporate position that unifies the body and praises God with one voice.
Our goal is not to sell albums but to release an authentic and prophetic sound. Our belief and hope are that this unique sound will unlock a grace and faith within other church bodies across the nations to find the authentic sound that God is wanting to release through them.
Rescue. was recorded in-house at The Church on 68 and includes eight tracks mixed with spontaneous moments of exuberant instrumental and vocal praise. All post-production and mastering have been completed by Chris Falson and Tony Green at Ear Gallery Studios in Los Angeles, CA.
