We have been called to rebuild, repair, revive, and restore lives, and we believe that as each of us joins together in serving (just as in worship, giving, and prayer) the Church on 68 will stand out in the Triad.
Together in serving means that each one of us is serving.
“God has carefully placed each part of the body right where he wanted it.” 1 Corinthians 12:14 msg
We are so thankful for the many positions that are available at our church all throughout the week because this allows us all to flow in the gifts that we have been given.
Do you like to talk with people and make them feel welcome? Do you like to work with technology, cameras and lighting? Are you a worshiper with a gifting for music? Is there a barista inside of you? Do you have an eye for detail? Do you like to make sure things are clean and tidy? Do you have a heart for helping kids discover Jesus? Do you want to see God’s house as He sees it?
Take a look at all the areas where serving is possible (click on the icons below) and let us know what stands out to you. Fill out the Fit Form and you will be directed to someone who can help you get connected.

Where to serve?
Lobby Team
Cafe
The cafe is open before and after service. We are often a point of connection for first time guests and we get to have a conversation with them in a relaxed atmosphere.
Greeters/Guest Welcome/Connect Center
As Greeters, Guest Welcome & Connect Center, our goal is connect with each and every person that walks through the doors of the Church on 68, leaving them with a memorable experience. We serve as a point of contact with those who come to our house through welcome greetings and friendly faces and helping them connect to this body.
Auditorium Team
Media & Lighting
The media and lighting department’s goal is to enhance all of the visual aspects of a service, both for bodies in the sanctuary, as well as those watching from home.
Usher
The usher team main function is to be attendants within the auditorium each service and to assist with tithe & offering each week, as well as assisting the deacons with serving communion once a month. Qualified ushers are regular tithers.
Generations Team
Our children's department is about more than simply childcare. We are here to help mold and shape the next generations to take over the world. Are you interested in helping us fulfill this mission?
Roles include: Registration, Lead Teacher, Assistant Teacher & behind the scenes preparation.
We are always looking for lively people with the following traits:
Passion – About God and children and finding ways to positively impact children’s lives
Patience – Ministering to children can be rewarding but challenging
Perseverance – This is an investment in the lives of young children and results can often take years
Facility Team
Cleaning Team
As a church we are growing beyond the “someone else will take care of it” mentality, but the members of the Cleaning Team take the cleanliness of the building very seriously. We believe the Church is our home and we want it to be an inviting and comfortable place to be.
We come in on Saturdays to make sure the building is ready for service the next day by doing the things most people take for granted; Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, washing windows, scrubbing bathrooms, and refilling paper goods.
Security Team
The Security Team serves whenever the church has a service and during most special events. Our purpose is to be a presence in the church, as well as keeping the building secure.
We patrol the church, watch the cameras installed throughout the building, lend a hand to any children's class when needed, and stand ready to assist in any situation.
