Water Baptism

  • the Church on 68 300 North Carolina 68 Greensboro, NC, 27409 United States (map)

In a world full of distractions, confusion, and more, there is one thing that remains steady and true. That thing is the love of Jesus Christ!

Jesus calls us to make a ‘DECISION’ for HIM. A decision that says, “I love you, and I will serve you all the days of my life!” That love is not one that entraps and imprisons, but rather, one that sets free. His love sets us free from fear, doubt, shame, sin and even death. That’s right, when Jesus went to the cross, and rose again from the grave, He set us free from the clutches of sin and death.

One way that we express our commitment and gratitude for His sacrifice is through Water Baptism. Water Baptism is two things:

1 – Our symbolic union with Jesus’ death and resurrection (Colossians 2: 11-12)

2 - An outward expression of an inward change (John 3:16).

You are letting the world know that you are washing off the old you, through faith in Jesus, and you are emerging from the water as a new person in Christ.
