NC Governor Cooper made an executive order to cancel all gatherings where the expected attendance is over 100 people for at least the next two weeks. As you know, the coronavirus pandemic has caused an unprecedented response from government and school officials, as well as affecting sporting events, concerts, and almost every aspect of culture.
In light of the executive order, the Church on 68 will not hold Sunday service March 15. The staff will gather Monday to discuss potential options for connecting over the next couple of weeks. We will also communicate with our elders in order to discern God's leading as we seize this opportunity to remain faithful to the call of seeing people rebuilt, repaired, revived, and restored.
Please be open to connect with other families in the church as you feel prompted by the Holy Spirit. This is a great time to gather for a meal in order for hearts to be encouraged by one another.
Please stay tuned for further communication as we navigate these uncharted waters. We continue to believe that our steps will be ordered of the Lord.
God is not shaken, nor will we be moved.
Standing together in unity,
Pastor Whit
